History

This glorious indulgence was the brainchild of Howard Vair, proprietor of a small specialty candy store in Detroit. Vair created Poppycock clusters more than 50 years ago as a snack to take along on tedious road trips through the Midwest. His craving for a unique blend of caramel corn and premium nuts was the inspiration for the premium brand of Poppycock clusters that popcorn lovers can discover today in grocery stores across the nation.
